THE
EVERGLADES by
Jan Kolenda and John Foster
Artists-in-residence,
Jan Kolenda and John
Foster, created a 54 x 17 ft. relief ceramic tile wall
mural of the Everglades. The mural is comprised of individual
tiles that depict some of the creatures who inhabit this habitat
that is uniquely Florida.
The
wall was permanently installed on the south side of the Coral
Springs Museum of Art on February 21, 2004. A donor plaque
is located in front of the mural.
