The Coral Spring Artist Guild is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization whose purpose is to foster, encourage and develop interest in the fine arts. The Guild has been in Coral Springs and Broward County since its inception in 1973 and draws members from a wide area of South Florida.

Since its founding, the Guild has sponsored many member exhibitions and juried art competitions in the South Florida area, stimulating interest in the creation of art in the various media of fine and applied arts. While many people are interested in creating works of art, others are interested in learning to appreciate art. Through exhibits, demonstrations, lectures and workshops presented by the Guild, both artists and nonartists are able to learn more about the various periods of art and how they developed.

• Meetings open to the public with demonstrations and lectures are held the third Tuesday of the month, September through June.

• Workshops are scheduled from time to time, throughout the year.

• The Guild has presented scholar awards to graduating seniors from area high schools. Community participation enables the Guild to increase its awards and facilitates the expansion of award to the youth in our local community.

• The Coral Spring Artists Guild, Inc. brings to the community a greater awareness and appreciation of the enriching world of the visual arts.
