Party like its 1969 with the Friends of the Museum at Vista BMW of Coconut Creek and Pompano Beach and Life Publications Flower Power Rock at the Coral Springs Museum of Art on April 22, 2010 at 6:30pm. Relive the 60’s & 70’s with Celebrity Guest and Master of Ceremonies

High energy will be flowing through the Museum with the music of the 60’s and 70’s. Drink, eat and boogie your way the evening while waiting to win the Vacation Get~Away drawing for 1 of 2 exciting trips (3 Nights at the Green Turtle Club Abacos with Airfare or a weekend at the 1842 Inn in Macon GA) and bidding at the Live and Silent Auctions featuring sports memorabilia and original art by renowned international and national artists.  A lively Chinese Auction for gift baskets, gift certificates and goods and services will wrap up the event. A good time will be had by all and the Coral Springs Museum of Art will benefit from all the good vibes of Flower Power Rock.

Flower Power Rock will begin at 6:30pm. Area restaurants will be here with delicious specialties to sample and wine to taste. Patron Spirits Company will have an ice bar open during the evening.

Previous fund raising events organized by the Friends of the Museum have assisted with generating revenues for student scholarships, the continuation of art educational programs at the Museum and the annual Artist in Residence program.
