Art Classes in an Art Museum
The Coral Springs Museum of Art, CSMART, offers studio art classes for Children, Teens, and Adults, taught by experienced educators who are also professional artists. Students are invited to question, explore, experiment, and solve problems as they create and interact with art.
CSMART offers 5 week programs after school and Saturday for ages 4 to 15. As a student you will develop your skills by creating individualized works of art in: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics, Cartoon Art, Papiér Mache & Puppetry and Art Though Literature.
For Teens and Adults, CSMART offers 5 week programs available in the morning, evening and Saturday. Whether you're a beginning or advanced artist, you will benefit from new techniques demonstrated in every class. Classes offered include: Drawing, Painting, Watercolor, Ceramics ( handbuilding & wheelthrown ) and Comic Books & Graphic Novels.
The Homeschool Program consists of 4 week classes Friday mornings from 9:30 to 12: 30 for Homeschool students ages 6 thru 12. Using the current Museum exhibitions as inspiration, students create their own artworks by exploring a variety of techniques in: Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Papiér Mache, Ceramics, Cartoon Art and Master Artist Study.
